Benchmark Holiday Concert

On December 5th Benchmark School held their holiday concert. Kianna joined the Advance Choir this year and was in many numbers.
The Benchmark School Choir sang "Sleigh Ride", "Better Bundle Up",  "Happy Hanukkah My Friend", "Glo-Glo- Glorious", and "Where Are You Christmas"
The sixth grade sang a Disney Dazzle Medley. It was amazing!

Keith's Visit

My brother, Keith lives in Virginia and we don't get to see him as often as we want to. He flew to Phoenix at the beginning of December. We hadn't seen him in four and a half years and we had a wonderful visit.
Caeli had a basketball game and Keith got to see her spiritline perform.
She had a busy week with school and games but loved that he came.
We went out to dinner a couple of time.
It was fun to spend time together.

While Keith was here he helped us fins a car for Caeli. She was so excited and can't wait to get her license in February.
The girls adore their uncle and wished he lived closer.
It was fun to have the four of us together again.

Thanksgiving 2016

We all had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Caeli wanted to cook and did an amazing job, with a lot of help from Kianna.
 Her turkey was delicious!
Pam had to work and left at 1:30. My friend Kiki joined us for dinner.
She is an amazing person and I am so thankful for her friendship.

I can not believe that October is over already. Halloween was so much fun this year. Caeli announced she was going to be Batgirl and created her own costume. It turned out so cute.
Kianna was a Candy Corn Witch.
They trick-or-treated for a while and then handed out candy to the neighborhood kids.

Now on to November!

Carving Pumpkins

Saturday night, we carved our pumpkins. The love to do it and are so creative.
They pick the patterns and chose a spider, witch, and the evil queen.

PJ day at Pom

AS part of Spirit Week, the Varsity Pom squad all came to practice in pajamas.

Junior Cheer/Pom Clinic

Horizon's Varsity Cheer and Pom squads held a clinic for students that want to become a cheer leader or pommie when they are in high school. Over seventy girls showed up for the event.
Caeli worked with the first grade girls and had so much fun. They learned a cheer and dance, had dinner, got t-shirts and bows and took part in the freshman football game.
Kianna attended the clinic. The older girls were all in the back row. It was fun to watch both of them at half time.

Kianna's Birthday Party

Kianna wanted to have a bowling party/sleepover for her birthday. She invited her four best friends and they had so much fun bowling.
They bowled for two hours and then headed back to our house.
We continued the bowling theme at home.
At twelve you have to have a candy bar at your party.
Sophia, Sara, Kianna, Sylvia and Cydney
The girls had pizza for dinner and danced
Kianna and Aunt Pam had made her cake. She loved the bowling theme. They made the pins and bowling balls out of white chocolate.

The girls wanted to swim, but it rained, so they watched a movie, got very little sleep and were up early to swim and have breakfast. It was a fantastic party!
