I started this blog in 2006 while waiting to travel to China and complete my family. This journal continues to share with family and friends the joys and fun of being a family and raising my daughters.
Arizona never gets much rain. Our yearly rainfall is 8 inches (which we do not make most years). After going months without rain, there was several torrential downpours in September. September 8th set a record for most rain fall on a single day. We got three inches of rain in one hour. There was flooding (thankfully not at our house), streets were closed, and some schools closed. The girls had school that day, but the grassy area outside Kianna's classroom became a lake and her teachers dug out a boat kept in the Kindergarten classroom. The 4th graders all had fun getting into the boat.
