BROWNIE END OF THE YEAR CELEBRATION... Last Tuesday Caeline's Brownie troop ended their year with a fantastic outing for the girls. When they left school they squealed when they spotted a limousine waiting for them.
The girls posed for pictures and hopped in the pink limo. They were greeted with music playing "Girls Just Want To Have Fun". Caeli was so excited, she called me on the way and I could hear all the girls screaming, giggling, and singing.
After about a twenty minute drive they arrived at "Sweet and Sassy Salon". The girls were escorted into the salon and spa event started. First stop, Caeline had a mini - pedicure. She soaked her feet and had her legs massaged, Then they painted her toe nails.

Next was a mini-facial. They used a chocolate mask. The girls thought it was so funny to put mud on their face.

They rubbed lotion on their hands and wrapped them in plastic. Then they put oven mitts on for ten minutes.
They were able to pick their hair style. Most girls chose the Rock Star.

All done!

When everyone was done the girls had fun walking on the runway.

The girls had a snack and made flip-flops to wear.

The girls had just as much fun on the trip back. They arrived at the school and were all so happy.

STRINGS CONCERT... Mariah has been taking music lessons all year at school. Last night there was a concert at her school. The children played well and the large crowd enjoyed the performance. I am so proud of her.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY... I hope everyone had a wonderful mother's day. Caeli got up early and entertained Kianna until I got up.

In the afternoon we went to lunch up in Cave Creek. They have an old western town there and the girls love to look in the shops and walk around.

Kianna didn't remember being there, so she loved the old west theme. Her favorite was the "horse" and wagon.

WHAT A CRAZY DAY... Saturday was a crazy day for us. We left the house before 7:30. The company I work for took part in a walk for Easter Seals. We met some on my co-workers at a local park. The girls walked the 1 and 1/2 miles with us. After there was food, games, facepainting and a slide for the kids to play on. We got home a little after 11:00 and got ready for the afternoon.

We dropped Kianna off for a Birthday party that she was invited to(it was her day caretaker's granddaughter and she went with the family). Then we headed to Castles and Coasters. The girls had a great time at Caitlin and Cassidy's 8th birthday party.

They ran all over the park going on rides.

One of their favorites was the log ride. They were alone in this log and had so much fun. They went on several times.

They are in the last seat on this Dragon ride.

Three hours later they all headed to the party room. They enjoyed pizza, cupcakes and ice cream.

Happy, Happy Birthday to two very special girls!
It was almost 5 when we left the party. We dropped Mariah off at her friend, Maddy's slumber party and picked Kianna up. We then went to our last party, a communion party for Caeli's friend Jacqueline. It was a fun day, but the girls were exhausted by the time we got home.

SCIENCE FAIR... The girls school held their annual Science Fair. The girls worked on experiments. Mariah's was based on the Stroop Effect. Names of colors were written in the wrong color and people had to name the color uses. She timed them and was surprised to find out that adults were quicker than kids.
Caeli tested the kids at the dance studio on naming candy by smell and taste. She discovered that they could tell Peppermint Patty, but everyone had a hard time with Snickers.
Both girls created boards for the Science Fair.
