SEVEN YEARS AGO... this week, my life changed forever. On the morning of January 21, 2002, I was in China waiting to meet my second daughter. This is the referral picture that I had received.

I was anxiously waiting in the lobby of our hotel when the director of the Feixi orphanage walked in with the sweetest, most beautiful baby that I had ever seen. I couldn't believe that I was lucky enough to be her mother.
Pam and I loved our time in China and getting to know Caeli. I fell in love with her immediately. As we spent time together, she grew to love and trust me.

I can't believe that that she has been part of my life for seven years. Caeline XiRu has grown into a wonderful young lady. She loves life and lives each day to the fullest. She is sweet, kind, generous, caring, smart, loving and has added so much joy to my life. We were all blessed when she joined our family. Happy Gotcha day, sweetie, I love you!

HAPPY NEW YEAR... We all had a wonderful New Year's Eve. The girls all stayed up to midnight and had so much fun celebrating.

They put on a show and Kianna loved being part of the act. They danced and did flips and sang.

We all hope 2009 is a wonderful year for everyone!
