AUTUMN MOON FESTIVAL.... The Chinese celebrate the arrival of the autumn moon and FCC (Families With children From China) celebrates every September with a picnic at the railroad park. The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to play outside. This was the first year that Kianna was able to attend and she loved every minute. She tried soccer and played with other children. We met a lot of new families that got babies this year. The girls saw the Moon Lady, rode the train and carousel, and played with their friends.

MARIAH'S LUAU... Mariah started celebrating her birthday this weekend with a party for 15 of her friends. She had a luau in our house. The girl wore grass skirts and Leis. They danced, went on a treasure hunt, played games, beat up a Tiki Pinata and laughed a lot. They had a relay race where they had to dress in an assortment of clothes and it was hysterical!

HAPPY LABOR DAY... Last night the girls spent hours decorating their bicycles with red, white & blue crepe paper and balloons. The morning we loaded the bicycles and Kianna's jeep into the car and drove to the care facility my mother is in. They had a Labor Day Parade. The girls had so much fun riding around and the people loved watching. They received necklaces and enjoyed a watermelon party.

DANCE... The girls are back in Dance company for the second year. Mariah takes 7 dance classes and Caeli takes 6. They love to dance and dance every free minute they find. Kianna started dance class a couple of weeks ago. The first week she watched and the second week her feet started tapping. She now dances the whole class and smiles every minute.
