STEPHANIE'S BRIDAL SHOWER... Yesterday afternoon we attended a bridal shower for a dear friend. The girls all love Stephanie and are going to be in her wedding next month. We met her when she taught Pre-school at the school the girls attended.

Her future sister-in-law, Jen has been the girls dance teacher for years.

The girls are so excited about the wedding. We all enjoyed a delightful brunch and then went over and picked up their Junior bridesmaids dresses.

10 YEARS AGO TODAY... I was in Hefei, China waiting to meet my second daughter. I looked up and the director was carrying in the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen.

We spent the next two weeks getting to know each other. This was at the American Consulate when I promised to take care of her forever. She was then given a Visa to travel to the United States.

When we got home Mariah and Caeli met for the first time.

Over the years Caeli has become an amazing person. She has many friends,

loves to go on trips,

travel,

go on cruises,

go to the beach

dance,

go to Disneyland, and have fun!

Caeli, I am so proud of the person you are!

CAITI'S BRIDAL SHOWER... Caiti was so surprised yesterday when her friend brought her to her first bridal shower.

Her friends Syd and Kim arranged the shower. They put Caiti and Stephen's engagement picture on the cake.

The guests were divided into four teams and chose a bride. The they decorated the bride with toilet paper dresses. (Caiti's mom Holly)

After voting, there was a tie. Mariah and Caiti settled it with rock, paper scissors. Team 3 won.

Caiti opened gifts at her kitchen shower.

Caiti had such a good time, so did the girls.

HAPPY NEW YEAR... I can't believe that another year has come and gone. We had fun celebrating the new year!

CHRISTMAS EVE... On Christmas Eve we ran arrands and wrapped gifts. At six o'clock we joined friends for dinner.

The girls looked so pretty in their dresses.

They are growing up so quickly.

There were 15 people at Holly's house. We visited before dinner.

We opened gifts after dinner. Kianna loved her new hat.

When we got home, the girls baked cookies and sprinkled reindeer food in front of our house.

Then it was off to bed to wait for Santa to come!

CHRISTMAS MORNING.... The girls slept later this year and we started opening gifts around 9:00.

The girls were excited to open the gifts around the tree.

Mariah is at the age where she loves to get clothes.


Caeli couldn't wait to start handing out gifts.

Kianna asked for an American Girl Doll and was thrilled to get Kanani.

Mariah added more houses to her collection.

Santa always remembers to bring each of the girls a nutcracker!

Santa brought Mommy a wonderful present.

She closed on her new house on the 22nd!
